Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role located in Covington Twp or Hamlin, PA for an EMT/Paramedic. Responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, providing immediate medical assistance, and transporting patients safely to healthcare facilities. The role involves assessing patient conditions, administering necessary medical treatments, and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals. A high degree of professionalism, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic, with a valid NREMT qualification
- Solid understanding of Medicine and medical procedures for emergency care
- Strong problem-solving skills, quick decision-making under pressure, and effective communication abilities
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks in stressful environments
- Experience in a related field or a strong passion for emergency medical care
- Current certifications in CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- FBI Fingerprinting and Clean Background Check
- Childline Child abuse Clearances
